Amy England

Amy England

Amy decided 15 years ago that she wanted a career in conservation so she volunteered to count birds for DOC, then got a job as a hut warden one summer and she hasn’t looked back. Through her work with local and central government as well as small business, Amy has developed a unique mix of skills, from planting, species management, and weed control through to environmental education, community engagement, project management, and preparing funding applications.

Amy loves sports and outdoor adventures and spends lots of time at the beach with her family. She is also studying for a BSc in environmental science if she ever has a spare moment or two.
